MUTETV: Musings on Art, Politics, & Culture

MUTETV is exactly what it ascribes to be: a muted television, a mecca for works of art to dwell & to come alive off of the page to tell their tales, a home to stories, cast in living & vibrant color. This blog was created in an effort to complement the art being featured in my online art gallery, The Razart, to elaborate on the art processes that take place whilst creation is underway, and to showcase other artistic & performance related ventures related to myself as a  performing & visual artist. This space will also be used to envision collisions of art and politics, to tackle and unpack the racial, identity-based, and socio-historical politics behind each painting, to discuss contemporary Afro-diasporic culture and life, and to speak power to truth.
