I’m a graphic artist, self proclaimed love and relationship guru, and most importantly… Mom of twins who felt that there was a desperate need for more positive depictions of ‘the black family’. Since our twins were born this past December, we felt that we had some good stories to tell and are so happy to finally have our blog up and running. We’re sure anyone will find it intriguing if for no other reason than because it’s a story that may be similar to their own. Our dream is for our blog to be an open forum for parents just like us – either married or single – to have a place to express their fears and air out their insecurities… A huge resounding “YOU’RE NOT ALONE!”
My site is an awesome depiction of a young black urban family navigating the ups and downs of parenthood and relationships. Our “tell it like it is” approach will have you literally rolling on the floor laughing. Our blog has everything from recipes to information on local events for families and couples alike. There’s something for everybody.
