Two fashion shows will be sponsored by Macy’s. They are Nzuri Fabulously Fashion 2 Fro and Fabulously Fashioned over 40. Plus a few more fashion shows have been added. I Love Being Black andNaptural Roots Magazine will be media sponsors. I Love Being Black will host a seminar on how to explode your business with social media on Friday, December 9. They have over 5 million fans and hold the record for most fans by a fan page dedicated primarily to African Americans. Essence Onlinehas also been added as a media sponsor. There is so much going on this weekend that writing about it is not enough. It is definitely something you will have to experience for yourself. The first two events to kickoff the weekend are tomorrow night. I Love Being Black will offer a workshop called Beauty and the Biz. It will help teach business owners how to use social media and more taught by Kumi Rauf. Later that evening there will be a VIP “Fro Off” Party benefitting Keep Kids In School. It is a private foundation of Shoes4School. During the day, vendors will be setting up and last-minute preparations will be made for the Biggest Natural Hair Show in Texas. Saturday and Sunday will be filled with shopping, workshops, performances, fashion shows, pageants and more.
