In part one of my inauguration experience, I highlighted moments from the 2013 inauguration ceremony on January 21st, 2013. The next day on Tuesday January 22nd, I attended a White House Tour and the Inaugural Staff Ball. As a 2012 campaign staff member, I was invited to attend various activities throughout the week.
The White House Tour
This was the second time I toured the White House. I toured the East Wing in December and viewed all of the beautiful Christmas decorations. This time was different, yet still wonderful. I actually met President Barack Obama during a surprise visit.

Later that day I attended the Inaugural Staff Ball. It was held on Tuesday January 22nd for all of us Obama Alumni that worked on the 2008 & 2012 campaigns. Many campaign staffers came from across the country to attend this event.
Here are some pics of the Inaugural Staff Ball below:

I had an amazing time during all of the festivities and I’m glad I could share it with the Black Bloggers Connect family. This is just a small number of photos from the inauguration celebration. Stay tuned for the BBC video photo journal that will feature many more pictures.
