Los Angeles, CA… Afrozon World Sports, INC announced today Michael Ndoumbe as its Executive Vice President. In addition to his day-to-day operations duties, which include oversight of external communications, government relations and philanthropy, Ndoumbe will serve as the co-chair of the inaugural Afrozon World Soccer Tournament. AWST will present the Afrozon World Soccer Tournament beginning December 14, 2013 through January 11, 2014.
Ndoumbe, International Soccer Player And Coach with Extensive experience in soccer facility operations including managing, scheduling, and program development including youth soccer camps and clinics for diverse cultures and ethnics, socioeconomic backgrounds and education as part of his community outreach.
“Afrozon World Soccer Tournament (AWST) is the first of its kind in Los Angeles. AWST is bringing together the people of Los Angeles, local adult players from community soccer clubs representing 64 countries (i.e. Mexico, China, Nigeria, etc.), our military branches and public services (i.e. US Army, LAPD, Sheriff Dept., US Navy, etc.) for a total of 72 teams for this unique soccer tournament,” says Ndoumbe.
All games, celebrities’ exhibitions and events in this month long celebration of Los Angeles diversity will kick-off at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum including an opening ceremony, Nations Flag Parade, exciting halftime show and exclusive VIP after-party. Gates open at 10:00 AM and are FREE to the public.
