Black Bloggers Connect member Cherina Jones and her friend Monica Scott launched Psyched-Up.org. The website focuses on “fighting mental illness stigma in the Black community.”
Cherina states,
“The website was a response to the lack of online resources and real-life support within the Black community for those of us battling mental illness. I don’t have to remind you about the stigma associated, which ultimately prevents people from getting the help they need.
We created PsychedUP! with the vision of helping people in the Black community better understand mental illness and embrace it as they would any other physical ailment. The site is also about building a community of people who are both supportive and can be supported.”
This is an important initiative that needs your support. For too long we have allowed mental illness stigma to plague our communities, causing many people to have trouble finding support and resources. Psyched-Up.org is looking for anyone who may want to share their story or a professional who would like to contribute in some way.
I’ve been looking at your blog site for a time, but until now I decided to write at least a howdy there.

I am fairly certain he’s going to take joy in browsing it.
I honestly believe that this is an exceptional page and I will be coming back again to read

actually fine, keep up writing.
