kirabo_sincere-200x300Philosopher Bertrand Russell once wisely said: “In all affairs it’s a healthy thing now and then to hang a question mark on the things you have long taken for granted.”

Sincere Kirabo’s blog Notes From An Apostate is a platform that engages in social critiques many are uncomfortable with or unaccustomed to inspecting.

There are plenty of widely accepted beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors we uncritically accept without asking ourselves why we think the way we do. Notes From An Apostate is a space dedicated to examining privilege, inequality, and mainstream thought without cut cards.

Sincere Kirabo (@sinkirabo) writes about secular humanism, culture, social justice, and politics from an intersectional approach for his blog as well as for various online and print publications. He also works with two branches of the Center For Inquiry: He helps coordinate digital media with African Americans For Humanism and, with the Freethought Books Project, he facilitates secular literature and pen pal communications with prison inmates.
